Dr. Walter Harris

Dr. Harris founded Rittenhouse Eye Associated in 1989. A graduate of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Dr. Harris completed his internship in internal medicine at Hahnemann Hospital and his residency in ophthalmonlogy at the Medical College of Virginia.

He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and The College of Physicians of Philadelphia. Formerly the Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology at Drexel University College of Medicine. Dr. Harris is an adjunct professor at the Sidney Kimmel College of Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University and Wills Eye Hospital.

Nadia Haqqie, MD

Nadia Haqqie, MD

Nadia Haqqie, MD, is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with the Wills Eye Cataract and Primary Eye Care Service and Wills Eye Emergency Department at Jefferson. Dr. Haqqie received her medical degree cum laude from Albany Medical College in Albany, New York, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society her junior year. She stayed on at Albany to complete her residency, serving as chief resident during her final year. She completed fellowship training in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York. Her areas of interest include dry eye and cataract surgery.

Dr. Elina Dorfman-levy, O.D

Dr. Elina Dorfman-levy is a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania based female Optometrist with 5 years of experience in Optometry. She completed her graduation from Pennsylvania College Of Optometry in 2015. She accepts the Medicare-approved amount. Patients will not be billed for any more than the Medicare deductible and coinsurance. The active license number of Dr. Elina Dorfman-levy is OEG003193 for Optometry in Pennsylvania.

Dr. Elina Dorfman-levy examines, diagnose, treat, and manage diseases, injuries, and disorders of the visual system, the eye, and associated structures as well as identify related systemic conditions affecting the eye. She completed pre-professional undergraduate education in a college or university and four years of professional education at a college of optometry, leading to the doctor of optometry (O.D.) degree. She is an eye health care professional who is state-licensed to diagnose and treat diseases and disorders of the eye and visual system.
